Is this HRT?+
Yes — Averion’s primary therapeutic pillar is hormone optimization. For executives, this typically means testosterone, thyroid, and related hormones tuned to YOUR individual labs. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance under the Federal Controlled Substances Act; prescribing decisions are made by an affiliated DEA-registered physician based on individual evaluation and current laboratory results.
Why might compounded testosterone be prescribed instead of an FDA-approved product like AndroGel or Testopel?+
FDA-approved testosterone products (such as AndroGel, Testopel, Testim, Androderm, and various intramuscular esters) are the default prescribing option. The affiliated physician may prescribe a compounded testosterone formulation from a state-licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy only when the patient’s chart documents a specific clinical reason — for example, an FDA-approved formulation being unavailable to the patient, an allergy or sensitivity to an excipient in the FDA-approved product, or a documented clinical need for a strength or route not commercially available. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies and are not themselves FDA-approved products.
Do I need to come into an office?+
No. Labs are collected at a LabCorp or Quest near you. Everything else — consultations, protocol reviews, medication delivery — happens remotely. You never set foot in a clinic.

Yes. All patient data is HIPAA-protected. No public-facing billing codes, no marketing lists, no third-party data sharing. We treat your care with the discretion it deserves.
What happens after 90 days?+
Your physician reviews final labs with you and makes a recommendation. Some patients continue with a maintenance protocol at a reduced monthly rate. Others transition off entirely. There’s no auto-renewal — the decision is always yours.
What if I’m already on a similar protocol?+
